Ms. Adam is a former federal prosecutor with over 20 years of experience with whistleblower actions and healthcare litigation and compliance.
Ms. Adam established Adam Law LLC to represent whistleblowers in qui tam litigation under the False Claims Act and to advise healthcare organizations on matters involving internal investigations, overpayment inquiries, and other compliance issues. With experience on both sides of the enforcement equation, Ms. Adam offers clients a comprehensive perspective on healthcare enforcement and compliance. She also draws on her substantial healthcare experience to serve as an expert witness on topics relating to the False Claims Act and fraud and abuse laws and regulations.Whistleblowers embody the democratic principle that no one is above the law.
Ms. Adam is honored to represent whistleblowers in False Claims Act litigation. Whistleblowers, also known as "relators," are courageous individuals who are willing to speak up about fraud committed upon government programs at the expense of American taxpayers. Whistleblowers are entitled to file a case under the False Claims Act and other laws to recover taxpayer funds and to share in a portion of the recovery. Any person or business with knowledge of a fraudulent scheme that affects taxpayer monies may qualify as a whistleblower.Ms. Adam is committed to fighting for whistleblowers who seek to serve the public good. She has devoted years of her own career to public service, having served as an active duty Lieutenant in the United States Navy (1988-1992) and as an Assistant United States Attorney in the Public Corruption and Fraud Section of the United States Attorney’s Office in Atlanta (2002-2006). As an AUSA, Ms. Adam first experienced the privilege of working side-by-side with federal law enforcement agents, and she welcomes the opportunity to assist whistleblowers in bringing fraud to light.
